Christmas Morn

After a slight meltdown, Koy was ready to explore the loot.

Optimus Prime and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Could Christmas get any better?

Mmmm...sweet rolls and croissanwiches.

And yes, all the Ninja Turtles dined with us.

Why can't Santa send some of his elves to clean up the mess?

You bet I dressed them in matching outfits. And they loved it!

Like father, Like son.

I still cannot believe that I am surrounded by boys.

I have to say this Christmas might have been my favorite yet. We are so blessed to have so many people around us that love us! (Most of the time)
We hope your Christmas was as merry as ours was.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at my parent's this year. We had a big dinner (I was apparently too busy eating to get a picture, and you know that TJ couldn't be disturbed while eating.)
So, after all that we got to open a present.

Koy was super excited. And no, I'm not pregnant. Bodey is just wrapped around me.

Surprise! Grandma Jammies!

Looking handsome, as usual.

Our little family.

Two Months

Bodey celebrated his two month birthday on December 21st.
He weighed in at 12.8 pounds and is an even 2 feet tall.

He is a pretty happy little guy. We have yet to capture a full-blown smile on camera though.

There is a slight look of terror on Bodey's face. Who can blame him when he has to hang out with Koy all day?

Lovin' the DU hat. We have a similar picture of Koy at this age. TJ likes to start them early.

A little blurry, but still so stinkin' cute!

Barney Party

This year we had the annual Barney party on December 18th. As usual there was lots of food, fun, and fizzy Barney punch. We had tons of fun, but realized that Christmas just isn't the same without Aunt Diane there.

Ahh...These two. Funniest grandparents ever! No Foolin!

The classic nativity. Koy would not participate because he was too busy doing this...

Running around with jazz hands causing havoc.

Bodey was there too, but he just slept the whole time. As you can tell TJ is having the time of his life.

Winter

Koy finally got to be right in the middle of a snow storm this weekend. The kid was in heaven shoveling, and more importantly, eating snow.

As you can see, he is working very hard. The tongue sticking out is a dead give away.

Koy wanted to build a snowman so TJ decided they should build a snow Raphael.

(He is supposed to be giving thumbs up. Not doing something else...)

Koy standing back to admire their work.

And last of all-Koy likes to pretend that TJ's coveralls are his sleeping bag. He fits just perfectly inside one leg.

Deja Vu

We have had quite the week around here.
The day after Thanksgiving Bodey started throwing up. We didn't think much of it at first, until he puked and it shot all over me and the chair I was sitting in.
I looked at TJ and I think we both knew what was going on but didn't want to say it out loud.
You see, when Koy was 5 weeks old he started doing the same thing. We found out it was pyloric stenosis and had to spend 3 days at Primary Children's with him while he had surgery.
Well, Bodey was 5 weeks and projectile vomiting. We waited the weekend out, all the while the throw up got worse and worse.
On Monday morning I took him to the doctor and the doctor thought it was pyloric stenosis also, so he ordered the tests for the next day. That night Bodey didn't keep anything down. While I was getting ready the next morning, AF hospital called to say that the machine they use for the test was broken and they would have to reschedule for another day.
So, I had to call around to try and find somewhere to do the test. I was completely freaking out because I knew Bodey was getting dehydrated. Luckily in the middle of my freak out Katie came to the rescue.
She got on the phone pretending to be me, called Primary Children's and got the test scheduled, all without having to visit the ER. (Which we both know is hell on earth because Koy and Abe had to spend hours in it before they were admitted.)
Once we got there they gave Bodey the ultrasound and the radiologist took one glance at it and said, "Yep, he's got the same thing his older brother did."
We were admitted and about an hour later they came to take Bodey to surgery. We were lucky to get it done so fast because he couldn't eat before surgery and had to wait 8 hours after to start eating again.
We owe a huge thanks to Katie and her Mother Bear instincts!

After surgery, trying to get comfortable.

The nurses were dying at how chubby he is. Usually kids that have this are really skinny because they throw up for weeks.

During our stay the Jazz made their annual visit. Of course, TJ was at home getting the camera. But Bodey and I got to meet Paul Millsap and Scott Layden. They even signed a little ball for Bodey.

Just hanging out waiting to eat.
We are so glad to be healthy and at home. Bodey has been smiling up a storm since we got home and since he can eat to his heart's content.

Pretty Funny

This is what dads and uncles are for.
