At the beginning of the summer we bought a camping trailer. TJ has been so excited about it because it has been one of his dreams that finally came true. We have been having a lot of fun seeing more of our beautiful surroundings.
Our maiden voyage was to Fish Lake over Memorial Day weekend. The place is amazing-one of the prettiest I've been to. But, it was freezing! We were bombarded by wind and snow flurries but we still managed to have fun.
Happy to have caught something so we could go back to the warmth of the trailer.
Next, we went way up above Strawberry to Trout Creek with TJ's brother Travis and his family.
It felt like we were literally on top of the world.
Koy got to learn how to shoot BB and pellet guns-a right of passage. TJ couldn't have been prouder.
Then we decided to try camping at Yuba. We had never been before, but it has turned out to be one of our favorite places. It has sandy beaches, warm water, plenty of fishing and it is only an hour away.
The Robinson family joined us one day. TJ and Tyler were in heaven getting to fish and hang out together all day.
One of the many big ol' fish TJ caught. That is a pike and is one the ugliest fish I have ever seen.
We liked it so much, we went back again!
TJ is a master sand-crafter and made the boys a little play area complete with a bench
It's been so fun to create memories with our little family! I can now say camping is fun now that we always have our own bathroom!
