Four

Koy celebrated his fourth birthday last week, and compared to the last three, this one was pretty awesome.

He was lucky enough to have his little school buddy Reis come to McDonald's with us.  And since we live in a real neighborhood now, all the neighbors came to celebrate too!
Then it was off to Kangaroo Zoo with the cousins.  That place always guarantees a good time.

Abe and Bodey might have had the most fun out of all the kids.  They just loved rolling around and wrestling with each other.
Koy was the happiest kid on the planet because he got a big Buzz that makes sounds and a portable Matchbox track.
He is already over me and TJ making him fancy cakes.  This year he had his heart set on a Spider-Man cake from Wal-Mart.  What a 4 year-old wants a 4 year-old gets.

Koy-You are the best big 4 year-old we could have ever imagined!

Shower Scene

The other night, right before I put Bodey to bed he started urgently pulling on me, trying to get me to follow him.  He went into our bathroom and started pounding on the shower door.  I opened it up and he went right on in.
He couldn't have been more pleased .

He even managed to push his way out.
All I have to say is, my child is a genius.  Why I never thought to trap him in the shower before is beyond me.
(Yes, I know the glass door has water spots.  They are the bane of my existence.)
A couple of weeks ago TJ found out he had a few extra vacation days to use.  Before TJ and I died from boredom we decided to come up with some fun things to do.  We played games, finished a few projects, and went to the dinosaur museum.
All of us.
Bodey was not a fan.

By the end of the week TJ decided he'd had enough family fun and ditched us for the day to go snowboarding.  He dug out his classic snow outfit from 9th grade.  I made him pose like this because I knew those pants weren't coming home without the crotch ripped out of them.  But, he proved me wrong and the old red suit lived to ride again.
