Another year older.....

......and wiser too? Koy turned 2 last week and I don't know if you could say he is wiser, but he is getting pretty sneaky.

We decided to have a little party, probably more for me & TJ than for Koy, because he still wasn't really understanding that the party was for him.

We started out with dinner at JCW's. I'm pretty sure that Koy ate fry sauce and drank sprite and that was it. Who can blame him?

Then we headed to Jack & Jill for some bowling. Koy had to carry his own 8 pound bowling ball all by himself.

He only lasted about five frames then he was off to the arcade, which still has the same games it did when I was little.

We went back to our house to open presents and have some cake. Koy got movies, clothes, and toys. He was really excited about the backpack full of tools that the Bakers' gave him. He has already been helping TJ with projects around the house.

Then it was cake time and Koy was so excited to see the Nemo cake that TJ made for him. That's right-TJ made it. Is there anything that guy can't do?
Koy and TJ having some after party cake. After everyone left Koy made me & TJ sing "Happy Birthday" to him a few more times. C'mon-this kid is the cutest 2 year old ever!

This will make your day better. He loves Robin Hood!

What We've Been Doing...

Apparently not much, because we don't have a lot of pictures from the last little while. So here is a little of what we have been up to.

We had a really fun Christmas. (Yup it's been that long since I've posted.)

TJ was really proud of this icicle that was hanging from our front porch. Hopefully he isn't real proud of the outfit he's sporting.

Koy was excited when TJ brought home a Christmas goose. (No, we didn't really eat that for Christmas dinner.)

Koy is obsessed with horses, so he was freaking out when I pulled out this classic steed from my parents' attic. Only Dan Barney could keep a rocking horse in mint condition for 32 years!

We went sledding at Sugar House park and TJ really wanted Koy to love seeing the ducks and geese, but I think he liked sledding more.

WHEEEEEEEEEE!!!
