We finally got around to putting a fresh coat of paint on the old garage. I'm pretty sure it had been about twenty years since that has happened. Koy was all sorts of excited to help, so TJ gave him a brush and about a gallon of paint and let him have at it.
In the area that Koy painted I think there is an inch thick layer of paint.
Koy kept asking me, "Mom, is mine gonna be cute?"
If you overlook the drips, the white grass and clothes, it is pretty cute.
In other news, TJ has decided that he wants to take Koy elk hunting with him this year. Anticipating that they are going to be doing a lot of hiking, TJ wanted to make sure that Koy would fit in his backpack. Koy couldn't have been more thrilled with that idea.

After a few hours of hiking, I'm pretty sure that the smile will have faded from Koy's face. TJ will still have the same expression.
Making sure he can stay hydrated with the camelback.
Let's hope that they survive. Actually, let's hope that I let Koy go. Two days alone with his dad in the mountains; I'm going to need to borrow some xanax from someone.
